Maybe someone can help me out here I need to make a cake for a sweet sixteen party its all left up to me on what to make the theme of the party will be set up as a winter wonderland and the colors being used in the hall is silver and gold and she is all so putting pointsettes all around the hall being it is going to be Dec 7 2007 ..so maybe some one might have some Ideas for me for any help some one may give me ...Linda icon_smile.gif

Topsy-turvey with snowflakes/flowers by patriciascakecreations, which I think would be perfect for a 16yr old, can even use pointsettas instead of the flowers shown...

And there are just a few of the beautiful winter themed cakes. I think that keeping it elegant and yet young is a nice idea. That is why I like the topsy-turvy so much! But again, it depends on the b-day girl and her likes/personality=) Have fun! Jen

Maybe you could do something like this:

You could use 16 snowflakes and paint them with gold and silver lustre dust. Then put a large Royal poinsettia on the top.

Or something like this on a much smaller scale:

Again you could paint the snowflakes gold and silver.
