I'm going to try covering a cake in MMF today . . .can you decorate MMF using buttercream??? Or do you have to use royal?? I want to cover it with orange MMF and pipe a spider web and spider in buttercream over the top in black.

Yes, I have decorated on MMF with Buttercream!

I can't think of any reason why you cannot use buttercream to decorate over MMF.
