People love these and I would like to offer them as a complement to cakes, but have no idea what to charge for them...Thanks for your suggestions!

I charge $8 per dozen across the board no matter what the flavors are. Some may charge more or less but I think that this is fair given the time it takes to put them together and dip them in chocolate, etc...

Hope this helps. thumbs_up.gif

I think I read on another thread that someone charges $8/dozen for their cake balls.

I'll be charging either $7 or $8 for a dozen considereing the time it takes to dip the little suckers-----I'm now calling them cake gems for client reasons (hopefully soon)

Great cake balls FunCakesVT!! icon_wink.gif

Noreen816-
You can find recipes for cake balls all over this website. Basicly they are cake scraps mixed with other ingredients, ie. butter cream frosting, whipped cream, flavored coffee creamer...all mixed up, formed into balls, then they are dipped in a coating, usually chocolate. thumbs_up.gif

Hope this helps!!

Depending on the audience, I moisten with liqeuers, too...a house specialty as we make our own flavored rums! The possibilities are endless!
