Hi everyone, my name is Hillary. I'm really new to baking, cake decorating and I live in Asia
I want to buy some books and DVDs so I can learn at home. This would be fun! But the problem is that I don't know which one to buy since there are many out there.... Can anyone tell me which one is perfect for a beginner like me pls??? Thanks in advance!
Lindy Smith's books have good simple explanations and very nice cakes, and is also good to learn about the tools you need, cutters ect. For Baking get the Cake Bible, everything you will ever need to know about cakes and fillings is there
Thanks Paolacaracas! I still need help to choose some DVDs to learn decorating technique... any suggest?

Wilton also has some videos that might be just what you need to get started.
