I really hope I haven't repeated a recent post, but my search didn't come up with much.

I am interested in the luster dust, but had not heard of it before coming to this site. Where can it be purchased? Do you need to go to a cake specialty shop, or can you find it at Michael's, JoAnn's, etc?

Thanks everyone!!! thumbs_up.gif

Hi Pooker!

I buy most of my supplies (as do many others on this stie) from www.sugarcraft.com or www.candylandcrafts.com.

Sugarcraft has everything - almost too much stuff that it can be very confusing!!!!

Good luck!

Can you only buy it online?

I try to avoid online shopping if possible, because of the shipping costs.

Thanks for the sites, ladies! But I'd also like to know, like Melissa, if you can get it in stores...

If you have a specialty cake decorating store in your area, they might have some there. I've never seen it in chain stores like Michaels or JoAnn's.

I too bought mine from a cake specialty store. I did see "shimmer dust" at Michael's (I live in Arizona, if that helps). It was 3 containers in a bubble pak. They had Blue, Red and I think yellow in 1 pak. Gold, silver and white in the other. I don't go to jo-ann's, so I don't know if they have it there.

icon_biggrin.gif Here is the information for Linton Paper: 839 Tnornton ST San Leandro, CA 94577 Tel# : 510 357 6868...they are somewhat "primitive", they do not take credit card payments, but they are nice people, and very fast... If they ask you if you own a business, just say "Yes", and they will give it to you for much less..

Hi, do you know if Linton Paper has a catalog?

Also, is all luster dust and pearl dust edible? icon_cool.gificon_cool.gif
