how do you color chocolate? Do you have to use color flow and how much? do you use gel color or that paste-like color?

thank you

you can use americolor colors if you use flo coat.....I think it's a one to five ratio.....if you click on the tab that says shop on this site....they sell it and tell you how to use it......other than that you have to either use an oil based color or the powdered colors for chocolate otherwise it will cause the chocolate to seize up which makes it nasty and stiff and grainy....not good eats!

I just found it easier to buy the different colors available (candy melts) if you are doing CT's or something. I do color it if I absolutely cant make a certain color with what I have. In that case I use the candy colors (oil based) I have tried the flo coat as well. I just dont like the way it makes the chocolate taste. The candy colors make it taste funny too if you use a lot of it.
