I'm having a problem with my cake layers sliding. I have doweled it and put it on the frig. The coconut filing I selected is just too slippery.
I was wondering if I should cover it with fondant and put it in the feezer. It won't have anything on it since it is a stockpot cake. I will add the embellishments before I transport it. I'm thinking it will give it some extra stability. Any suggestions? Thank you.

How did you make out? I believe FondX is the brand that can be frozen, although I haven't tried it. Refrigerating usually helps firm up the cake for transport.

I reluntantantly covered it in fondant. That was a big piece of fondant!
It turned out great and no more sliding problems. I think it was doweled pretty good too. I've posted a photo on CC. It's the Crawfish boil pot.
