I need to make this cake for a customer, but I can't figure out what the tier sizes are.

I thought that maybe they were 6-9-12, but I'm not sure. I need to be able to serve 150 people. What tier sizes would I need for that to achieve this same look?

TIA,

Vicki

I would "guesstimate" this one at 8-12-16 which should feed 162 according to Wilton's cake guide.

I would say an 8", 10", 14". Its hard to say just looking at the picture.
Has anyone ever told you that you look like Jeannean Howe-McCartin? She's a decorator from the UK and does projects in the Cake Craft & Decoration Magazine.

Hi vicki
One could use pan sizes 8, 12, 14. I usually suggest this size, if the
bride wants no cake left over. If you deside to bake a base size 16 in, support it well.
I use 1/2 in thick base , and use dowels, and support within my layers, and a support down thru the layers, to hold it in place, so that it will not shift, (as your design is going to be heavy).
All the best.
