I tried searching the forums and probably skipped right past the answer-can anyone please give me the recipe for using rice crispies to make fondant figures. Do you just use the recipe for making regular rice crispy treats and then cover with melted white chocolate? Thanks so much.

well, as for fondant figures, I'm not sure, but I made a castle with towers and I basically used the rice crispy recipe minus the butter - which ends up just being melted marshmallow and rice crispies! It worked like a charm.

Someone also told me to crush the krispies before adding them to the mm and you'll get a smoother appearance. I always use the melted candy melts to smooth out the surface too before applying fondant.

Welcome to CC too!!

Thank you so much. I am currently taking the Wilton fondant class. Looking at all of the photos and information here has been a great help. There are so many talented folks here-and clever!
