I've heard of this done before - where you "paint" melted chocolate to the back side of a leaf, allow it to dry then peel the leaf off & you have a chocolate leaf with the veins and all.

Anyone how exactly how to do it?

Thanks

I have never done one before so I am not an expert but I have read about it in a book " The Essential guide to cake decorating" and they say:-

"Wash the underside of non-toxic leaves (rose or camellia) and dry well. Brush with a thin layer of melted chocolate. Set, then peel away the leaf."

That is all there is on how to do it!

Hope this helps!

I paint the chocolate on the shiny side.

Lemon leaves are best for this. They are large leaves.
Roses and Camilia are also good. icon_smile.gif
