... if you are just doing this out of your home part time. I really just want to be able to offer this talent to friends, family and a little word of mouth will always follow too. I have 4 kids and this is a great way to make a little extra income till they're all and while they're in school. Do I need to get a Tax ID and register and all that legal stuff ??? Do you have to get a health inspection for a rating and all that like resturants do? Very very new to this... so any basic info you have please share it with me. I'm slowly going through all the posts but it will take a while!

you should be okay for awhile if you are only dealing with family and friends. Its when you start to branch out further that you want to make sure your bases are covered.
You might want to check with your state you might find out that you can do this from home, without much hassle. It really depends on what state you are in and what town too. The thing i would be most concerned about is insurance if you are making for a lot of people, you want to make sure that your home owners insurance will cover you, if not you will need a rider so that you are covered.
I believe is depends on your state. In NC where I am yes you have to do all that stuff to sell.
