My Michaels will accept the ones from the newspaper, but not any coupons printed from the net.
The Michael's here will not honor any internet printed coupons, but will take comparable competitor coupons that are in flyers.

The Michaels here in Austin used to take internet printed coupons from Hobby Lobby. I used lots of them while I was taking the Wilton classes, but they stopped taking them in June of this year.
I don't know about HObby Lobby because I never get their coupons, but I've used the JoAnn Fabrics ones that come in the paper with no problem.
My Michaels WILL take the internet coupons from Hobby Lobby. I use them all the time at Michaels since I am there. 4 of my students used the 50% off Wilton one at the store last night and didn't have any problem doing so.
The AC Moore and Michaels in my area accept each other's newspaper coupons. The net coupons, well it depends on who is working the register that day. They are supposed to, but I have, more than once, had to call the manager over to confirm acceptance.
Joann will accept the other store's coupons, as long as it is used for a similar type of item, i.e. craft items. They will not accept them for use with fabric.
