I have a lady who wants a cake with hibiscus flowers, but I have never worked with gumpaste before. Should I buy some sort of kit? Where can I get it? If I practice now and make good ones, can they be used on the cake (on the 30th)? Can they be strung together to resemble a lei, maybe on wire?

I also don't know what I should charge. I'm thinking my usual base price for the cake, then additional for each flower, but I don't know.

Any help is MUCH appreciated, I'm not sure where to start here. Thanks!

you certainly can make them now for later. As a matter of fact if they are for the 30th of this month and you have never done them, get started now.
