I bought a licensed edible transfer and am trying to get it off the backing and onto the cake. I've tried freezing it (like instructions say), leaving at room temp etc.

Any suggestions? I'm starting to get really ticked off because it's for a really sweet kid for tomorrow. icon_cry.gif please help me....

Grrr.....Sometimes those can be stubborn. Have you tried to hold each edge & pull the backing page across the sharp edge of a table. That has worked for me in the past. It should separate easily. Check out the troubleshooting link on this site.

I'm going downstairs right now to try it AGAIN. I tried one corner at a time and they just kind of scrape off. I'll try both. I may try the dryer although I don't think it's wet. I may just set it on the cake. icon_mad.gif

It may be the transfer itself is old or something, I don't know. Ah well, the cake is going to be delish!

I gave up. There was no way it was coming off. It was peeling kinda like nail polish. I suspect it was old when I bought it. I placed it on the cake and it looks good. This is a special needs kid and he's going to love it!!

I bet it was old. That's too bad icon_sad.gif . At least it is on the cake and it looks good. I'm sure it will be a hit.
