I need to order cake boxes, but everywhere I try, the shipping is outrageous. Sugarcraft wants over $50 just to ship the boxes I need. Doitwithicing.com's prices are great, but when I ordered from them, they emailed me back and told me that the shipping would be so high that I might want to find a supplier located in Florida. Does anyone know of somewhere I can order boxes and not pay more for shipping than I am actually paying for the boxes? Right now, I am going to Michaels and Hobby Lobby paying $2.00 per box. When I need full sheet cake boxes, my local grocery store sells them to me for $3.00 a box, but I'm getting the feeling that she is tired of me coming in there every week. Please let me know of some other options. This would really be valuable information for me. I appreciate your time in reading and will greatly appreciate all responses. Im desperate.............

I know there was a thread on this subject just don't know where. You might try doing a search see if you can find it. I remember there were a few places suggested. I will see if I can find it, meanwhile here's a bump

http://www.countrykitchensa.com/catalog/mini.aspx?T=1&SubCatId=81

look underneath where it says unit beneath the cake box size, it will tell you how many are included.

I've searched a lot of places and you won't find much cheaper than that. They have reasonable prices on most of their stuff. Their shipping is reasonable too. Goes on price of your order. It's a store about 2 hours north of me in Indiana. The store used to be an old Gordon's Food Service building I believe and they bought it and turned it into what it is now. You go in there and there is just so much stuff. It's bad when my husband was amazed at how much they had. icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah, I remember the post about Sam's. I tried to search for the post but couldn't find it. There is a Sam's about 30 minutes from me. I'll call and ask them, but the last time I bought some Rich's Bettercreme from them they made me wait awhile for them to order it. I will call and ask though!

I have found the shipping to be very quick and pretty reasonable from these sites:

also for bulk ordering:

FYI Hobby Lobby has 50% off coupon this week for Wilton and it is for the entire purchase. I bought a bunch of boxes. I know that it is not bulk, but the 1/2 sheet ones were like 75cents and small were 50 cents.

Thanks, when do Hobby Lobby's sales go off? I probably can't go until Friday.
