does it have to go in the fridge???? I've made cakes covered in bc and also covered in fondant and both were out for like 5 days+ and they were delicious! The fridge IMO dries cakes out more than if they're just out at room temp in a box. Once they're cut then the shelf life is only a day or two!

I agree too long in fridge. The smells in fridge can attract to the cake. I would freeze the cake until the day before needed. Then decorate the cake. If you can. ![]()
