I've never tried it. It might curdle if it has milk in it also. Here's a bump

I'v not tried it, but I wouldn't.....I think it will curdle. I would stick to an extract or flavored oil if you have it.

use orange extract or add some orange zest to the bc. i'm not quite sure if it will curdle or not, i don't see why it would. it's not like you are adding a lot of it.

I use full strength lemon juice in buttercream.. and a lot of it. Never curdles. Only worry about curdle would be if you added milk too, I would think.

I too use fresh lemon juice and it works fine. So go ahead and use the OJ. Just remember if you want the icing smooth, strain out the pulp.
Oh yes, I wouldn't use either if milk was used.
Enjoy!!!

If you add a little tang mixed in with the orange juice that would work...like orange julius (but don't go overboard because it would be tooooo sweet)

I have never added oj but I do make orange bc by adding Loran orange flavoring and it is extremely tasty. It is very strong and only takes a few drops.

you can add the juice even if you add the milk. i do it all the time. it isnt overpowering orange so you may want to also add an extract.
