Is "icing Sugar" The Same As "powdered Sugar&

Please help me if you can. I am very very new to all of this and have been given several recipies that call for "Icing Sugar". I don't know if this is a special product or the same thing as Powdered Sugar. Can someone please enlighten me????

I believe in the UK it's called "icing sugar". But PS and icing sugar are the same thing.
