I have been using the heavy marble rolling pin with wooden handles that I have had for years.

I use it mostly for rolling cookie dough or MMF fondant.

Well, the handles are starting to separate and it looks like I might have to replace it soon.

I started thinking about what to get and looked online at some of the silicone ones with handles that claim they don't stick. They look interesting but they are expensive and I wondered what everyone else likes to use.

What do you use and would you recommend it?

I love my SIL-PIN. It is a 26in no handle rolling pin covered in silicone. Nothing sticks really easy to get big pieces rolled out and I know it sounds wierd but I get it much smoother, more even with out having handles. Plus the diva in me loves that it comes in so manny colors, I have bright yellow to match my VW bug. Well worth the money.

what are you wanting to use it on? I find my marble is the best for cookies, but I also have the larger wilton roller and love that one for fondant. i would like to try the sil-pin but had not heard many reviews on them yet so I had not invested in it.
