New poster here. I have a question for my first paid cake. I have an order for a chocolate cake, but I have to use MMF to get the right effect. Can I use chocolate icing under the MMF? I'm just worried about it bleeding through. Any thoughts/advice are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have used chocolate underneath MMF before. YOu might want to be sure it is thick enough, especially if you used it under white. I have chocolate icing underneath the firefighter cake and under the blue cake with daisies on it if you want to see!

Thank you so much for your response! I'm doing a deer cake - part brown and part green fondant - and I was hoping to be able to do chocolate icing. Your cakes are amazing by the way.
