I baked DH's birthday cake and froze it undecorated.

My son wants to decorate this thing SOOO bad. Could I take it out of the freezer, decorate it frozen-semi frozen and put it back in until friday night?

I do not want to give everyone food poisioning!

I have done it. If it's not for show it will be fine and still taste good. The only problem I had was the BC got a little runny when it defrosted. Check out my pics it's the happy birthday mia cake with the little green monster. My daughter still loved it. Just make sure to cover it well once the icing hardens.
