Hey all. I'm in need of suggestions for my dh's uncle who will be turning 50 at the end of the month. My MIL asked me to make the cake (which is a SHOCKER to say the least) so I really want to try to come up with something with a WOW factor!!!
Anyhow, he's a single guy, no kids but loves all of ours, drives a semi for a living, takes great pictures, loves to play cards and go to Vegas. And I'm not sure why but my sil sent out invitations with a 'western' theme so there is that route too (and oh yea, he's an x-biker dude and has the tatoos to prove it!). I'm trying to stay away from the dark-side so to speak as his mother just passed away about 6 weeks ago so sort of want to stay on the lighter side of things!!
Hopeyfully some one out there in the GREAT CC WORLD will have an idea of some sort for me....PLEASE!!!! I've been racking my brain with ideas and hubby has veto'd almost everyone of them!!!

Hmmm...maybe a 3-D semi truck cake with a motorcyle logo on the side of the trailer, or a western type logo that incorporates his name. Or, what about a cowboy hat, either as the cake, or a smaller one made out of fondant/gumpaste with a couple of playing cards stuck in the band of the hat. Or, a casino themed cake. There are several in the galleries to look at for ideas!
