I'm making a fondant blanket to go over a baby for a baby shower. I wanted to make it quilt like with the patterns in it, BUT needed to know how to blend in lines of ONE color, in the crease areas b/c blanket will be white. I hope this makes sense. I've seen pics and I wasn't sure how they put that color ONLY in the lines of the blanket and no where else. Please help me and NO I don't want colored squares for it b/c I'm doing a lot of color on cake as is. Please help me fast so I can order cake supply if needed! Thanks so much! Hope to hear replies fast!

Perhaps their painting the lines with luster dust or food coloring

I'm not sure I'm understanding what you are wanting...are you thinking like an imprint, like the blanket is quilted? If you use a roller wheel or something to make the imprint you can roll it in food coloring and that'll leave the color mark in the imprint.

I mean the blanket itself would be white, then I would put crease marks in it to look like a quilt somewhat..and IN THOSE crease lines, I've seen a color added like a straight line, not brushed. I thought adding pure icing coloring would smear, so not sure how to do it. I've seen it on a website, and it looks great! Hope this helps! Thanks and hope to get more answers. I DO have a roller wheel to imprint it yes,,
