Diego is a spin off cartoon of Dora the Explorer. He has a rescue pack and a baby jaguar friend. His sister Alicia also helps and they save animals in the cartoon. You can google Go Diego Go and see what he looks like.
I have two little girls and between that, Dora, and Scooby-doo it seems that is all I get to watch now a days!

I'd Google "Go Diego Go" and see what you could find.

Good luck!

Shouldnt be too hard. Dora and Diego are simply drawn so their pretty easy to recreate onto a cake, cookie, or cupcake.

Dora and Diego are easy to draw. They are Nickelodeon characters. Check out www.nickjr.com to get a picture of him.

Okay...I'm going to give it a try. They want 30 cupcakes and since I have never attempted this before, I need some pointers from those of you that are pros at this!!! I've looked thru the gallery for inspiration and see some great photos.

1. How do I secure the cupcakes to the cake board
so they do not move? Royal icing or what?

2. Do I just ice the entire surface of cupcakes with
buttercream icing and then create my picture as
a frozen buttercream transfer?

Any advice and tips on what to do or not do would be so helpful.

Thank all of you soooo much!

Sorry...one more question...

How much would you charge for 30 cupcakes?

When I do a cupcake cake, I take the cc's out of the oven and lay a heavy cutting board over the top while they cool. This will flatten any crowns so when you go to decorate, you have a nice flat surface instead of hills and vales.

I secure each cc to the board with a little dollop of bc. That seems to work really well.

Here is the link to a tutorial that really helped me. It has step by step instructions with pictures. I am a visual learner, so the pics were a huge plus! http://community.webshots.com/album/105830324epGFhn

When it's a character I'm not familiar with I also like to look for coloring books- I see them as ready made patterns to transfer onto cake!
