I can't seem to find it on the CC serving guide, or the wilton one. They just give servings for square cakes but I need rectangle. Thanks!

For a single layer 9x13 wedding cake size 2x2 =24 servings, 2 layers would be 54 servings.

Well, I guess that all depends on if you want slivers or actual pieces of cake. LOL a 9x13 in our house would feed... oh 6 people LOL Im always amazed at the way these serving charts are. Is it just me?

Wouldn't 2 layers be 48? icon_confused.gif (24 x 2)

Forgot to say if you have a 2 layer 9x13 you can cut the pieces a little smaller and still have up to 54 serving's.
If you want to cut the 2 layer in 2x2 pieces then you will end up with 48 slices icon_smile.gif

If you cut a 2-layer 9x13 in 2x2 pieces, you'll still get 24 but they'll be taller. You'd have to cut the slices at 1x2 if doing the two layer.

I do see now where the extra slices are coming from though. With the one layer, you're actually getting a little bit extra because of the odd numbers and don't have the same problem when cutting 1x2.

I have always figured a 9x13 to feed 12-15 people. I like to serve a piece of cake not a sample. But that's just me.
