tried any of the white chocolate fondants from Cal Java? The white chocolate raspberry sounded good, but was wondering how it actually tasted on a cake.

Yes, I have used it - only the plain white chocolate kind. It's good if you like white chocolate & the texture is pretty good. But I wasn't fond of how it handled. It tore real easy & I had a tough time getting it on the cake. But I'm fairly new to fondant, so I don't know for sure if it was the fondant or if it was me! icon_confused.gif

I think you can give them a call & ask for them to send you a small sample.

If you know how to make MMF you can make your own white chocolate fondant. Just mix in melted white chocolate candy wafers. Actually taste better than the regular MMF, and cheaper to make than buying the product and having to pay shipping for it.

Here's a link to how I make mine:

I've also tried the plain white chocolate fondant from Caljava. I loved the taste and so did everyone else, but I will have to agree it does tear easily. I also had a hell of a time putting it on the cake.
I don't recommend it for warm climate. It was hot here when I used it and I had to leave the A/C on all night because I was afraid it would melt.

I haven't tried white chocolate mmf, but I'm dying to try it.

I agree, the Taste is great but it is so soft! I ended up mixing it with another fondant so I could work with it but still have good taste.

I think it would super as borders though.
