Why, oh why do SOME of the papers pull away (open up icon_confused.gif ) from around my cupcakes??? Can anybody tell me how to keep this from happening???

I know this pales in comparison to some of your recent trials, but it's so annoying. Hopefully September will be a better baking month for us all.icon_smile.gif

As always, thanks for your help...

I was told that overbaking causes the papers to separate from the cupcakes. I've been baking my cupcakes until JUST done - still a few crumbs stuck to the toothpick - and haven't had a problem with papers separating since.

Thanks for the info Diane. I'll watch closely and take 'em out of the oven sooner...
