I'm a licenced decorator that rents my kitchen. I would like to make some brochures to mail out or have available with my busines cards at the Market where I sell also, but I have no idea where to start. My hubby says I don't have to list all my prices for everything in the brochure. What should I out in it? Does anyone else have one I could look at ?

Thanks, I do know what my prices are he was just trying to say it's a brochure not a price list. I'm not sure what content to put into the brochure though. Do I put in everything that I make? Descriptions of everything?

tri-fold letter size.

one side reading left to right

left panel: info about biz in very short form -- often a bulleted list. could also be a "meet the decorator" w/ a personal note from you. when folded this become the first panel people see upon opening the brochure.

middle panel: contact info -- address, phone, web, and even a map if possible. when folded this is the back of the brochure

right panel: the front cover of the brochure. eye-catching graphic and business name.

----

other side: -- 3 panels to explain the services you provide.

so might be something like:

left panel -- kinds of events and cakes/cookies you do.

middle -- the menu of flavors.

right -- "how to" -- set up a tasting/consultation, deposit/payment polices in brief. Invitation to call.

do NOT overload on copy (words) -- KISS!!! keep it serenely simple! and add at least one graphic/picture pre interior panel and on the the first panel they see.
