Great Opportunity How Would You Approach?

Harvest day is coming soon, and I am planning to rent a 20x20 electric capable booth to sell product from. The inspector says it has to be prepackaged before being sold, which shouldn't be an issue since I am in the works of licsensing... should be complete next week for sure. My question is such... the event is pretty much an all day event with arts and crafts, booths, shows... how much would you prepare. I am going to do cupcakes, cookies, large cakes sold as halves and also slices... I might even do 4 inch rounds and am considering 2" mini cc bouquets..... I will package them in my shop and have DH run them to me as stock gets but how much should I make? Anyone have any ideas, or ever done an event like this and prepared for such as a thing? The booth rental is $50 so I know I will make that back pretty quickly, just want to put my name out there. Oh and where is a good place to find paper products like plastic containers to purchase in bulk for the cake slices and cupcakes? TIA!
What a great opportunity to get your name out there. Also, congrats on geting licensed.
My suggestion would be to get an estimate of how many people attended the event last year and base your bringings on that.
As far as pricing...that depends on what you are doing this for. If you are doing it to make money then of course charge more, if you are doing it to get your name a business out there...charge less (still without giving stuff away.)
Since you are doing small and large items you could price accordingly. I would keep the cupcakes low just so "Mom" won't say no when 3 kids are asking for a special treat. Then a little more for sliced cakes, and of course most for half anf full sized cakes.
Also, IMHO having a little extra is better than running out. If you have extra you could donate to a local charity or shelter...if you run out then you either sit there and twittle your thumbs or pack up and go home early - neither of which looks good.
Good luck!
