Hey guys... need help desperately!
I have been trying to do a cake for a friends kid for this arvo... five attempts at doing floodwork failed as it is too hot here today and the condensation on the buttercream stuffed up all my floodwork.
I have just done my first attempt at a FBCT... using the instructions on CC... but I've just read I should have used wax paper... but stupid moronic me used SILICON PAPER!! will this work? should I start again???

Don't you think even if the silicone mat doesn't get too terribly cold, that the cold hitting the icing from above would be enough to stiffen it?
If it doesn't appear to be hardening enough, maybe you could put some wax paper on top, then a flat cookie sheet and flip it over. Maybe then the cold from the metal tray would harden it enough.....just brainstorming here.
