I live in Canada (ontario) and I can't seem to find luster dust. Does anyone know if shimmer dust (Wilton)is the same thing. If so, how do you go about using it. If you mix it with water, how much? Help please
thanks jen

Hi, welcome to Cake Central!

No, I have read many times on here that you can't use the Wilton dust and get the results you're looking for.

I can't help you with the location issue....I have shopped at Country Kitchen Sweetart website for lustre dust; perhaps they will ship to Canada?

I just bought some luster dust on ebay from a seller called Jester's Party Supply. I don't know if he ships to Canada, but it's worth checking out. The shipping costs were the same no matter how many you ordered.

Sorrym shimmer dust is not like luster dust. If you mix it with any form of liquid it will clump. Pretty much you can only sprinkle it on your cakes. Can't help with the Canadian shippers, sorry. Though, there is The Baker's Kitchen in Toledo, OH. Shipping is fairly reasonable there. They have a lot of luster dust.
