You may want to browse their site as it has alot of information: www.sugarveil.com

There are examples of items decorated at: http://www.sugarveil.com/gallery/index.htm (there's also my first attempt using it in my photos; see the strawberry cake; and I also used it on my July 4th cookies).

I love the system and did not find it hard to learn. I can't pipe anything delicate worth a darn so this helps wonderfully. The icing itself can be used without purchasing the dispenser. It will initially dry so it is fairly pliable and you can twist it, drape it, cut/punch out shapes, etc... The taste and smell are a bit odd. It will eventually dry hard and brittle. I was thinking about looking into the unbreakable lace icing another company sells.

I like the dispenser because you can use it for muliple things (RI, chocolate, etc...). When using the sugarveil icing you can tape a template to your surface, cover with parchment paper, grease with crisco, pipe the design, let set and pick up and manipulate (e.g. drape, etc...). The icing is very forgiving and it melds to itself quite well.

If you want more information you can PM me. Also, I think there is a sugarveil representative who is a member of CC but I don't remember her name (you can probably find her if you search on 'sugarveil' posts).
