Should This Cake Be Doweled??

I made a 14" round, just one layer. I also made one cake in the Elmo face pan by Wilton. I'm going to place the Elmo face on top of the 14" round. Should I dowel that? There are only two layers total (the 14" and the Elmo).

The party isn't until tomorrow night if that makes a difference.

That shouldn't need doweled, if it was a 2 layer cake under I would to be safe but not for what you're doing.

I made one like that, but on a sheet cake, and it did fine without doweling!

Nah, my instructor told us that if your cake is more than 2 layers, it should be doweled, so I think yours will be fine!

I think it will be safe without being doweld as well
