Does anyone know the amount of filling needed for the various round pan sizes, i.e. 14", 12", 10", 8", and 6" round pans. I'm making my son's wedding cake and will be done in another state - want to be sure I bring enough filling with me

Here is what I have for fillings

6"-.5 cup
8"- 1 cup
10"-1.5 cups
12"- 2cups
14"- 3 cups.

That is from Wilton, so it may be on the light side and it depends on how much filling you want to use. I would add a bit more on to make sure you are covered Hth

I went to my cake class last night and our teacher said just to be sure the pan is at least half to 2/3 full. I know that doesn't give you exact measurements, but if I were in your shoes, I would probably make more than I needed so I would be sure I had enough. thumbs_up.gif
