I've seen some posts here on this subject but want to confirm this.

Can baked chocolate chip cookies be frozen (if they are wrapped carefully and put in ziploc or airtight bags)? How long can they be frozen for.

My DH makes CCC and we want some for Christmas but due to school exams he wants to make them ahead of time.

I freeze them all the time. I put mine in galllon size freezer bags with wax paper between the layers. They should keep for a few months at least.

I do it all the time as well. I bake them, let them cool and then put them in an airtight container and do as mjw - put wax paper in between layers; i have frozen them up to 2 months in advance and when i am ready to defrost them, they are great and great tasting - very fresh.
