hi everyone..

i have a rather odd question..
in a packaged cake mix, what do u need to add a cup and a half of water for?

the reason i ask is, i was mixing a cake, but it was in a small bowl, so i was adding the water little at a time.. and something side tracked me and so i stoped. i put the cake in the oven and then after it was done i realised i had only actually put maybe 1/5 of a cup in there!

the cake turned out fine! does the water make it fluffier or what does it do lol?

It will make it fluffier and more moist. Was your cake heavy and kind of dry? More like a brownie?

Maybe the water PRE CLEANS the bowl as you mix the cake so you don't have to scrub it later...HA HA HA (It's past my bed time...can you tell...he he)I'm glad your cake turned out anyway oolilnikkioo
