Practice Cake, Need Suggestions.

I can't figure out how to make my picture smaller so I can attach it to this but it is under tropical wedding. Sorry I'm a newbie. I am attempting to do my first wedding cake and I am not sure that I like the way the practice cake turned out. I need ideas on how to make purple hibiscus look normal on a wedding cake, I just don't think that the cake should be decorated to formal since the bride wants purple flowers. She has kind of given me creative control.

You CAN have formal and tropical together. It just depends on the total look you are going for. Try this link for ideas:

I think your cake looks great! The flowers are beautiful, icing looks smooth, the borders are very nice, and I like the scrolls on the side or the cake. Good luck on your first wedding cake!
