Good luck with your Fair Entry. I wanted to enter a cake in the MD State Fair, but ran out of time and didn't get one done.

Ooh the state fair. Only been there once. Very different from our county fair here in Prince William. What's the competition like? I thought about entering the county fair as a beginner with only one class under my belt, but chickened out! Turns out I would've had a good chance with only three cakes entered total including professional!!! Next summer!

Super nervouse, Super excited. I just entered the Virginia State Fair decorated cakes and the pound cake competition. Wish me luck!

I don't even know that I have the nerve. Probably not. My September is super booked with my son going back to school, football and cakes, I may not even have time to enter!

I wish! I looked at it again and I have until the 28th. Maybe I could crank out something, we'll see! I'm afraid of rejection so I doubt I can get the nerve up this year.

Has anyone else entered? I've entered the wedding and other categories, but just haven't had time to get them done! I should be able to finish the wedding cake (who needs sleep) by Friday AM, but probably not the other.
