Need Help With Gun Cake- Please!!!

hi all!
i was asked to make a gun cake for a family friend. i was given a pic of an ak-47 and told i could either make the whole cake a gun or make the cake to look like a target and put a fondant gun and bullets on the cake. i'm sure the target idea will be much easier. what i'm wondering is does anyone have any idea how i should make the fondant gun? should i use all fondant or should i use something else ( rice krispie treats)? i tried to search the galleries for guns and there is only 4 pics in there.

Hi not sure if I will be much help at all. I'll just share my experience with you. Last year for my husband's birthday I want to do a cake gun related because he loves shooting and competes locally. I made a rectangular cake and put a silhouette of a man with a rifle shooting at a target in the corner of the cake. The silhouette I did with chocolate and covered the entire cake in butterceam. he love it.
