I'm wanting to make a tea pot cake and tea cups. I've bought the sports ball and the mini sports ball pans to bake in. It states to use a firm cake mix. Is just a basic box of white cake mix a bad idea. Is white or yellow cake not firm enough??
I'd use a pound cake recipe or a cake mix with pudding added...HTH
so a box of white cake with a pudding in the mix would work
