I don't know why, but I have always done everything possible to avoid doing stacked cakes. Am I just freaking myself out, or is it really that difficult? All I'll have to make is two squares stacked, but I am so worried that I won't support it correctly, it will be uneven, or it will collapse when delivering it.

Also, I have a request for half a sheet cake. Does anyone know about what the dimensions of half a sheet cake are?

I consider my 12x18x2" pan to be a half sheet cake (since it says that on the pan lol) Just pop in a couple of dowels and put the top cake on a cake board you'll be fine. Check out the article on how to stack a cake.......that'll give you some good pointers!

It's really not that hard. Do a trial run. Deliver a cake to your best friend. That way if it's ruined (which it won't be) there's no worry.
