is it possible to make cheesecake balls. something i can put on a stick and put into styrofoam to look like a bucket of golf balls? my dh bday is coming up and he has requested cheese cake. i would love to make little cheese cake balls probably dipped in white chocolate.
YUM! Those sound delicious! I don't see why they wouldn't work. Make balls out of them, freeze them then dip into melted chocolate to coat. Would probably have to keep cool, but I think the chocolate would hold everything in.
I saw that someone said they sell the cheese cake filling in the grocery stores, you may want to experiment with that as opposed to making everything from scratch to test.
Let me know if you need an official sampler!! My mouth is watering just thinking about those!
Yes, you can make cheesecake balls. Just make a regular cheesecake let it chilll completely then use a small ice cream scoop to make the balls (You might have to shape a little with your hands). Freeze the balls and then dip into chocolate. They are yummy. Oh and I use a recipe that has no crust for this. Hope this helps.
i saw on foodnetwork a few times "cheesecake lollipops"

ive even seen them frozen and dipped in chocolate.
im guessing you can just adapt as you need it.
yay im glad it should work lol. his bday is the 1st of september i want it to be a surprise but i think i may try something while he is at work one day this week. i have seen that premade filling but havent bought any. i wonder is it think enough perhaps if i put it int he freezer first. as far as no crust could i use a regular recipe and leave off the crust??? or will i have to adjust some things???
I would make the shell out of white chocolate using the mold, then pipe in the cheesecake filling. Then use more white chocolate for the "backs." When set, stick 2 together for a ball.
