I have customers coming from 4-6 hours away. Do I have to freeze cake to make sure that they are okay when they get home and how do I time it so its ready when they get home? Can you freeze fondant?

thanks

Fondant shouldn't be refrigerated so I don't think it should be frozen but don't know for sure about the freezing part.

If they will eat the cake within a day or two from picking it up from you and its covered in fondant and it doesn't have a perishable filling, it will be fine, no need to freeze the cake. Hope this helps.

I mailed a cake to my mom that was iced and filled with bc and covered in fondant (the picket fence cake in my pics) and she actually saved it for like 2 days after she received it to take to work and everyone raved about how fresh it tasted! the fondant actually helps to keep it fresh and moist inside, just do like was said above and make sure your icing and filling are stable at room temp.
