By the way my second WBH cake of the day came out better than the first, but still weird (I won't bore you with the details), but since I also needed to bake a 6" round I figured I'd give the Rebecca Rather cake a try. I must say, tasted side by side, I do prefer the Rebecca Rather cake. It doesn't hurt that the recipe was easier too.
Not sure that my little bitty opinion should carry any weight considering how many, many CC'ers swear by the WBH cake, but I just figured you might like to hear a 2nd opinion on the RR cake.
Try them both this weekend
