I have a ladies hat cake to do for saturday. I read that to use the sportsball pan that you should use a pound cake recipe, so I imagine I need to make the 12 inch round it will be on top a pound cake also... can you bake a pound cake in the 12 in. round pan with a flower nail??? or should I go against my better judgement and bake a regular lemon cake in the sportsball pan?

I don't see why you couldn't you might use a couple flower nails just to be on the safe side though!

I would think you could bake in the 12" using the flower nail. I personally haven't tried it. icon_confused.gificon_redface.gif
