I would like to find a nice cake stand with clear dome lid what size do you get ? Ive been looking but so far none would accomindate a 9 inch round cake with borders. Does any one know if the one here will be ok it says its diameter is 12 but doesnt say on the dome.

I'm sure the stores hate me, but when I shopped for my cake stand, I went to the baking department & grabbed a couple of 9" round pans then went over to the display of cake stands and stuck them both inside and put the dome over it. If it fits with plenty of room on the sides, it should be okay.
