So I cannot imagine how many cake scraps when into to garbage.......and yes I have tried cake balls! I still need to dip them but they are pretty darn yummy!

I do have a question---After mixing is it supposed to be a big ball of mush?? Or am I doing something very wrong!

Thanks!

I had that problem too on my first ones. They were mushy and then fell apart when I tried to dip them. The second ones I did I just barely put any icing (or liquid) in them they need to hold together but not really be wet. My cake was very moist to I did not need much at all.

Sounds like you are adding too much liquid. You should use just enough to get them to stick together.

you're looking for the consistency of chocolate chip cookie dough... something you can roll into a bowl. i always do mine by hand so i don't have experience with a mixer... if you need to thicken it up a bit, add more cake scraps or some powdered sugar.

Well it all sticks together nice-I was just wondering if the texture is like mashed up cake? I rolled out 80 of the lttle buggers!
