UNC's paper is the only daily paper in town. The rest of our local media is quite crap, actually, so I am happy that they covered our opening.
When we were at the UNC ( 3000 cupcake) event last night...one of the Sororities cam to ask about throwing a gelato party at Sugarland. We told her about our menu and she said " Caffeine and gelato and sweets? Screw Disney world..Sugarland is the happiest place on earth !!"
I think that's our new motto.

they did a front page story on my shop a couple years ago....and it really helped my biz take off...the next day the phone was just ringing off the hook.......it was almost scarey...ha!

How about changin that tagline to "Sugarland the happiest place on earth!"
or "Sugarland the sweetest place on earth" instead the "because life is sweet"?
