Fathers day coming up! My Dad is into motorbikes (big time) and thats pretty much it! Hes an engineer, does a lot of DIY, um... thats about it. I cannot think of a cool cake to make him! I thought maybe a flat cake with a bike logo on it, but I like 3d ones (a bike is far too hard,)...
Anyone got any ideas?

You said he was into DIY and also motorcycles, what about doing a toolbox cake? the cake should be a pretty basic shape and you can sculpt various tools out of gumpaste or modeling chocolate? Just an idea really but thought because of the interest in both things he would definately need tools for both

How about a motorcycle tire/wheel, with the logo in the center?
It could be a flat cake "tweaked" to look 3D...
