I'd like to make a Tabasco bottle standing up. I'm sure you experts can give me tips and suggestions on this. My main concern is getting the fondant to stay put and not slid down the sides on the bottle due to it;s weight. I'd appreciate your input experts.

The fondant should stick to the glaze or buttercream undercoat, so sliding shouldn't be a problem. (I wouldn't try using a soft fondant though. Perhaps had some CMC/Tylose/Cellogen if you are using MMF and leave it to rest overnight.) You could cover it on it's side, by rolling, then stand it up when the fondant has dried somewhat. You may get a slight flat spot where the cake is resting on the table, but this may not matter to you if it's at the back of the bottle.

I haven't tried this, but these are some ideas.
